Please take into consideration that all Stefni pieces are made to order. I am a one woman company and in between work, life does happen.
When you order a Stefni piece via my website, Instagram, email or phone you will be communicating with me personally. I process, design, manufacture, package and send off every piece. I will communicate with you as the process unfolds, your patience will be much appreciated. If you feel you want to be in touch more during the manufacturing process of your piece, kindly send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information: your name, the piece you ordered and your request.
Most of my work is made from a mix of metals, mostly silver, but brass and bronze does feature. Mixed metals contain elements that could react to our skins oil or acidity levels and can cause discolouring in the metal and on the skin. This is normal. Generally, the more we swim in the sea and expose jewellery made from these metals to our daily life routine, the less they will react.
Most Stefni pieces are made from an array of materials, that can include found objects, perishables or temporary elements. Naturally, this means that not all my pieces are suitable for elemental exposure, or they are but the acceptance of temporary elements and their nature needs to be taken into consideration. Before accepting payment I will disclose this information clearly as to give you the freedom to decide if such a piece is suitable to your needs.
All postage costs is the responsibility of the client. Each piece is packaged to the best of my ability to secure and protect it for its adventure to you. Once the piece leaves the Stefni studio I relinquish responsibility of breakage and damage from there on out. Any breakages or damage must be taken up with the courier, postal services or middle men responsible for the delivery.
You may return a piece for repair if the breakage was a manufacturing error, this is free of charge. If the piece breaks while you are wearing it or living life you may return it for repair but you will be responsible for repair and postal costs. Postal costs are non-refundable. Returning the Stefni piece to me is your responsibility. A standard laboring fee will be charged for the duration of the repair. To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned Stefni piece. I will also notify you of the estimated costs involved with the repair. If the repair costs are too high, the piece will be kept and only repaired once funds are available to pay for it.
If you received a Stefni piece as a gift and it doesn’t deeply resonate with you, there are two options available:
- choose any other Stefni piece with the same money value and I will gladly swap it for you
- book a consultation to sit down with me and create a bespoke piece for you especially – the returned items value will serve as a deposit for the bespoke piece process to start.
Unfortunately I do not have a set refund policy and generally don’t allow refunds. Having said that, I desire to treat each client as an individual and would love for you to have the freedom to send me an email or give me a call. I am open to conversing about what your needs are in relation to this topic.
