Description

A literal presentation of history from Morocco

This silver piece was originally manufactured by the Imuhag, meaning the free people – a semi-nomadic desert people from the Sahara. They are known for being master navigators of this stark landscape and the guardians of the trans-Saharan trade routes.

The brass, sourced when they came into contact with the Western world through-out the ancient trade routes they followed. Re-used and recycled from broken metal goods and other jewellery pieces no longer in use, sourced as they passed through markets. An amalgamation of stories woven into one.

The center, Red Agate.

Finished off with hand engraved tribal markings.
